Aug. 25 proclaimed ‘Ladies in Christ Prayer Day’

Through official proclamation signed by Mayor Greg Jones, Saturday, Aug. 25, has been designated as “Ladies in Christ Prayer Day” in the city of Crowley. On hand Friday for the signing of the proclamation were, from left, Mary Russell Cobb, founder of the Ladies in Christ Prayer Line Ministry; Mayor Jones and Carolyn Bellard Malveaux, also a founder of the group.
